Persontee (also styled PT) is a Nigerian Afrobeats recording and performing artist and songwriter from Osun State, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.[1] Known for his versatility, he blends Afrobeat rhythms with global influences, fusing traditional Nigerian styles with modern production — a sound he explores on his project Afrosonance.[1]

Persontee's music is an energetic, soulful fusion of traditional Nigerian styles and contemporary beats, reflecting the exchange between African culture and international music trends.[1] On stage he performs both with DJ sets and a live band, and his shows are built for club floors and festival crowds alike.[1]
Career [ book ]
Working from a Netherlands base, Persontee built his profile on the European Afrobeats circuit. In 2025 he appeared on Victony's Stubborn tour in Warsaw, supported Ruger's Blown Boy RU tour in Bremen, and performed as support for Young Jonn in Amsterdam and Timaya in Bremen, closing the year as opening act for Kizz Daniel at Die Halle in Cologne.[3] The same year brought festival slots at Afroton Festival (Belgium), Afrikadag Festival (Amsterdam) and the Lagos in Amsterdam edition of AfroJuju Fest.[3]
In 2025 he released the six-track EP Afrosonance, followed by an EP tour with editions in Amsterdam and Poland.[2] Alongside the EP he has issued collaborative singles including Vodoo (with Akra), Towobade (with Versano) and Wetin Concern Me (with MixNaija).[2]
His 2026 calendar continues on the German and Dutch circuit, with support slots for Tekno and Awilo Longomba in Bremen and an Afrobeat/Amapiano stage appearance at Kwaku Summerfestival in Amsterdam.[3]
