AVATAR is a Dutch/Scottish Afro House producer based in Amsterdam. His sound blends deep rhythms, atmospheric textures and melodic tension into immersive, club-focused experiences.[1]
Sound and approach [ book ]
With a refined musical identity and a strong focus on storytelling through sound, AVATAR creates sets that move seamlessly between hypnotic grooves and high-energy moments.[1] Alongside production, he works in engineering.[1]
Career [ book ]
AVATAR began releasing his own material in 2024, with the singles Watermelon, Fine and BALLIN, alongside Made in Romania AMAPIANO EDIT, an amapiano reworking featuring Ionuț Cercel, issued through Zolarsem in September 2024.[3]
From 2025 onward his output shifted toward collaboration and production work. He appeared as featured artist on LEVEL 9 (Nathan Ginero), HITTERS (Jamss) and SHOTTA (Don Dadda), and in August 2025 on MON AMI, an afrobeat single by KEENWRLD and Kotobo.[2] The same year brought two joint releases with EFFIEGOHARD, SHAKU and BAUTENSPELEN, followed by LANG LANG with KEENWRLD.[3]
In June 2026 he released Tozo Bina with Kotobo through Apsu Music, credited as producer as well as billed artist, reflecting the engineering and production side of his practice.[4]
